Ich erinnere mich, wie er mir sagte: „Essen ist Erinnerung.“ Das blieb hängen. Weil es stimmt. Eine Art, Danke zu sagen – für Reis, für Wasser, für das Hier und Jetzt. Klingt pathetisch? Mag sein. Aber wer einmal echten Kombu-Dashi gerochen hat, versteht mich.
